What is a taxi aggregator?
A taxi aggregator is an app that checks prices from multiple ride-hailing services at once and shows them side-by-side. Instead of opening Uber, then Lyft, then Bolt individually to compare fares, an aggregator fetches all of them in parallel. Payfair is the first ride-hailing app to do this — the product category simply didn't exist before Payfair shipped in 2025. Flight aggregators like Skyscanner and Kayak have existed for over a decade, but ride-hailing was fragmented across dozens of single-provider apps. Payfair fixes that.
How aggregators change the ride-hailing math
Without an aggregator, your "cheapest ride" is whichever app you happened to open. With 16 providers active in Payfair, every ride is compared across the full market. That matters because no single ride app is consistently cheapest — surge pricing, local market dynamics, time of day, and vehicle tier all shift the winner from ride to ride. Comparing all of them turns "whichever I checked" into "the actual lowest available fare right now."
Why one app for 16 services
Installing 16 ride apps on your phone is impractical. You can't compare prices across them efficiently, you need separate accounts for each, and you'll forget half of them exist. Payfair replaces all 16 with one interface. Enter your pickup and destination once; see 16 prices; book the cheapest. Uber and Lyft rides book directly inside Payfair with one tap — no app switching. For the other 14 providers, Payfair shows you the price and opens the provider's app when you want to book. All comparisons happen in real time, on your device.

Payfair works in 50+ countries across every continent. Uber coverage is global; Lyft covers the US and Canada; Bolt is strong in Europe and Africa; FREE NOW covers 9 European countries with licensed taxis; Cabify operates in Spain and Latin America; Hopp in Toronto and Washington DC; taxi.eu across 11 European countries; Arro for NYC taxis; PideTaxi in Spain; Cabonline in the Nordics; Curb for US taxis; and Yango across Eastern Europe, MENA, and parts of Africa.
