Payfair 2.3.0 — Ukrainian Providers, Savings Tracking, In-App Language

Payfair 2.3.0 is here

This release expands our Ukrainian coverage with two new providers, adds per-trip savings tracking to History, pulls notifications and address search into your app language, and makes overnight alerts smarter. Yandex Go has also been rebranded to Yango.

Two new providers in Ukraine

If you ride in Ukraine, you now have two more options on every price comparison:

• Uklon — Ukraine's leading homegrown ride-hailing service, now side by side with Uber and Bolt on the compare screen.
• Taxi 838 — a nationwide Ukrainian ride aggregator connecting hundreds of local taxi fleets.

Connect either one from the Apps tab and their fares will show up automatically whenever you plan a trip in Ukraine.

Yandex Go is now Yango

Yandex Go has been rebranded to Yango. Same service, same coverage, same account — just a new name and a new logo. No action needed on your end; the app picks up the change for you.

Track your savings in History

Every time you pick a ride from the price comparison, Payfair now records exactly how much you saved versus the pricier options. Open History and you'll see the savings next to each trip and each quote — no more guessing whether the app is paying for itself.

Smarter address search

Before this release, address autocomplete was biased toward your phone's GPS position. That works fine when you're hailing a ride from where you are — and less well when you're planning a trip somewhere else.

Now the search also takes into account where you're going. If you've already set a pickup or destination in another country, suggestions will favor places in the right country for each end of the trip.

The whole app in your language

Notifications — surge alerts, weather alerts, session reminders — now follow your in-app language setting instead of your device language. Address suggestions are localized to match, too. Pick your language once, see it everywhere.

Smarter overnight notifications

Surge and weather alerts used to pile up overnight and greet you with a stack of stale notifications in the morning. Now they roll into a single always-current alert while Night Mode is active (20:00–10:00 by default), so what you see is always the latest.

Stay signed in to your connected apps

Payfair now keeps an eye on your connected ride-app sessions and lets you know if one of them has signed you out, so you never find out mid-booking. Transient network blips no longer trigger false “session expired” warnings, and related alerts are grouped so they don't spam.

Bolt currency fix

Bolt prices in non-Euro countries could sometimes display in the wrong currency. Fixed — you'll now see the right local currency and symbol everywhere Bolt operates.
